Why do I have to register?

We have decided to restrict access to our blog and photo album. This is a result of our concerns about privacy and the dangers of posting too much personal information on the Internet. We apologize for the inconvience to our family and friends, but decided that it was a small price to pay to protect our family.

We are monitoring the users who register, along with the comments posted. If at any time a user is becoming crude or abusive or otherwise unpleasant, they and all of their comments will be removed.

We reserve the right to remove any user and all of their comments at any time. If you have provided a valid email address, we will attempt to notify you that your account has been canceled along with the reason why.

What information do I have to provide?

We request that you provide your first and last name along with a valid email address. Currently we do not validate the email address in any way, but it may be used to contact you and retrieve your password if you forget it. We also ask you to select a unique username and password. Your username is used to identify your comments to the blog.

What is the information used for?

Your information is only used to identify you on this website. It will not be given out without your permission. Your username is shown with any comment that you make on the site, but your real name and email address are not used or displayed without your permission.
